Join us for the first Small Acreage Model Property tour of the year at Moonstruck Meadows on Saturday, March 29 from 10am-noon.  We’ll hear from Ridgefield Equine Clinic's Anne Marie Ray on horse care, and learn tips from the stable owner for reducing mud, improving pastures and keeping animals healthy while implementing sound stewardship practices!  

Topics include:

  • Preventative horse care
  • Best footing materials
  • Pasture management
  • Fencing
  • Manure management
  • Drainage solutions & much more!

Moonstruck Meadows breeds Pure Spanish Andalusians and was recognized by WSU Clark County Extension's Small Acreage Program as a Model Property in 2005 for great efforts made by the landowners to control storm water, reduce mud, manage pastures and implement best management practices that improve operations while protecting water quality and natural resources.

Bring your family (no young children please) and friends and questions you have about your property. Please dress appropriately for the weather, bring a water bottle and wear sturdy boots as we'll be in the field. Resources and refreshments will be provided.  This tour is put on by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by partnership from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.

Cost: $10 (+$1.34 ticketing fee)
